Charolais

Charolais were first introduced to Rancho El Fortin in February of 1955, when a shipment of cattle directly from France was received. The Charolais came from world-renowned genealogist Mr. Jean Pugibet. To this date, Rancho El Fortin is one of the most important breeders of Charolais Full French in North America.

Breeders from France, England, Germany, Canada, Venezuela, Costa Rica, Guatemala, United States and many from Mexico have visited El Fortin and have unanimously said ours is one of the best herds they have seen in terms of uniformity of size, their strong back, ability to walk, and ease during labor.

Two decades ago, the Ramon Family acquired Rancho El Fortin to expand its cattle operations in the State of Coahuila. To this date, we maintain the same herd, which is available for sale the entire year.
